“Sounds of Spring" The choirs of Logansport High School, Logansport Junior High School, and Logansport Intermediate School will present their annual “Sounds of Spring" choral concert Sunday, March 5th, at 2:30 p.m. in the McHale Performing Arts Center at Logansport High School. Performing groups will include the Logansport High School Concert Choir, the Logansport High School Swing Choir, and the combined middle school choir. In addition to each group singing several selections alone, various combined numbers will be featured, including pieces sung by the combined high school groups and a special finale presented by all singers.
Admission to the concert will be $3.00 for adults, and $2.00 for students through grade twelve. Tickets available at the door only.
The Purdue Varsity Glee Club and the Purduettes will present a concert in the McHale Performing Arts Center on Sunday, February 19th at 4:00 pm. Also included on the program will be the Logansport High School Swing Choir, which will perform both individually and in a combined number with the Purdue groups.
Local members of the Glee Club and Purduettes include recent Logansport High School graduates, Maggie Fincher, Liam Gay, and Zach Schoensiegel, as well as Mason Hinkle from Pioneer High School.
Through the sponsorship of Myers Spring and the Purdue Alumni Club of Cass County, the concert will be presented to the community free of charge, though free-will donations will be accepted for the support of the Logansport High School choir program.

The Logansport Children’s Choir will present a special Thirty-Fifth Anniversary Winter Concert on Sunday, December 18th, at 2:30 p.m. in the McHale Performing Arts Center. Selections will be presented by the Concert Choir of third through eighth grade students, by the group’s advanced ensemble, the Chamber Choir, and by the combined choirs. Also featured will be the annual Carol Sing, with audience members joining the choir in songs of the season, and a finale in which the choir will be joined by an adult choir of parents, grandparents, and choir alumni.
Tickets are available at the McHale Box Office and at the door, at a cost of $5.00 for adults and $3.00 for students PreK-12.
