A mask should be on everyone's checklist for leaving the house. It's important parents make sure their children have a mask before they head to school each day. For best practice, add an extra mask in your child's backpack for a backup throughout the day if needed. #MaskUpHoosiers

Take 10 minutes today to complete your census and encourage others to do the same!
Why is this important?
The 2020 Census will be used to allocate more than $675 billion annually to communities across our nation. In Indiana, an accurate census count means up to $30,000 per person in federal funding that our state will receive over the course of the next decade. This federal funding will go towards programs that support education, healthcare, housing, transportation, emergency services, and more within our community. Everyone counts- regardless of immigration status.
When is the deadline?
The deadline is September 30th, 2020.
Does the Census have to be mailed in?
Nope! You can complete the Census completely online! Complete your 2020 Census here: https://2020census.gov/en.html
Internet Essentials is offering low cost internet! View the flyer to learn more: https://5il.co/kkh2

The Lions Quest program is a comprehensive social emotional learning curriculum that has a grade level specific program for grades k-6. The Kiwanis graciously voted to purchase each grade level kit for each of the four elementary schools and a 6th grade kit for Columbia 6th Grade Academy. The counseling staff will be using the curriculum as the basis for social emotional learning. The Lions Quest curriculum has been proven effective by The Collaborative for Academic, Social, and Emotional Learning (CASEL). The Collaborative for Academic, Social, and Emotional Learning (CASEL) is a trusted source for knowledge about high-quality, evidence-based social and emotional learning (SEL). CASEL supports educators and policy leaders and enhances the experiences and outcomes for all PreK-12 students.
